Do you offer discounts for non-profits or Title I schools?
Yes. We offer a 25% discount for registered non-profit organizations and Title I schools. Contact our team with documentation to apply.
What happens to our data if we cancel?
You can export all your data — gradebooks, rosters, lesson plans — at any time and after cancellation. We hold your data for 90 days after cancellation before deletion.
What kind of support is included?
Starter includes email support with 48h response. School plans get priority support within 12h. District plans have a dedicated account manager and 24/7 support.
Is student data secure and FERPA compliant?
Student data is encrypted in transit and at rest, is never sold or shared, and can be exported or deleted on request — parents and guardians can raise those requests in-product. Bright Grades is built to FERPA and COPPA requirements, and we are completing formal review with counsel. We will sign a district Data Privacy Agreement as part of onboarding.
Can teachers use Bright Grades without an admin setting it up?
Admin onboarding takes under an hour for most schools. We provide a step-by-step setup guide and our team will walk you through it on a call if needed.
